Maritime Piracy: Similar Cases, Different Outcomes (8 Feb 22)

Tuesdays Second Chance offers to learning lessons from past incidents at sea. This edition will examine two case studies of maritime piracy.

How ready are we to deal with cases of piracy? What level of cooperation do we have with partner countries and other agencies? After a 40-minute presentation, participants were invited to question, discuss, comment and provide critique at every stage, with a view to identifying operational lessons learned that are relevant to today’s challenges in Western Indian Ocean.
