Tuesdays Second Chance: Oil Spill Case Studies (28 Sep 21)

EU CRIMARIO and National Maritime Foundation (#India) speakers have presented oil spill case studies for drawing lessons learnt and discussing with participants from the potential improvements in terms of regional cooperation, liabilities, #MDA.

“As a platform created to support coordination and communication between different agencies in the maritime domain, IORIS has created functionalities to allow, encourage and facilitate coordination between those agencies. Among this functionality I would mention the messaging aspect. Countries and agencies can easily exchange messages, can exchange documents between them, can exchange filled-in forms into IORIS, as well as they can create their own groups. We call them community areas where they can do these exchanges between themselves, either through messages, through chats, through documents and forms that only the people or the agency representative that are in these groups can see and enjoy the full spectrum of communication between them”.
